Thomas Haenggeli
For over two decades, I have worked with people who want to move beyond short-term relief and create profound change in their body.
My training as a Certified Rolfer® took me to Boulder, Colorado, and Sydney, Australia. In 2011, I completed my advanced training as a Certified Advanced Rolfer™ in Santa Monica, California.
I have been in private practice since 2004. Today, Zürich is the center of my practice. For many years, I also worked regularly in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, and Barcelona. These very different places, people, and bodies have continually expanded and refined my approach.
I spent part of my childhood in South Africa. In the late 1990s, I completed my degree in International Business in Miami, Florida.
Structure was never separate from the person as a whole.
From the start, I knew that physical structure could not be understood in isolation from the nervous system, the psyche, and energetic patterns. Over the years, that understanding led me to develop my own form of energetic integration.
It does not simply accompany the hands-on work. It changes the underlying conditions on which structural integration builds. This allows energetic patterns to be regulated, reduced, and, where possible, fully resolved.
Advanced Rolfing® then integrates these changed conditions precisely into posture, tension distribution, and movement.
